boxes: the collection

Many objects that belonged to me when I was a child, my mother had kept and so, tucked away in a trunk, they are now in my possession. What should I do with them all? After so many years living in a trunk, it was like a resurrection of memories. Seeing them evoked stories, so I decided to make a series of 'art boxes' for each object with the story typed up on semi-transparent paper. Mapping Memory seemed to be a perfect context for them. Showing them to Kate wondering if they could be included, Kate has since made her own boxes and they live together within this project.
